Animals of Suriname 

Suriname has a diverse ecosystem, there are many animals. There are lots of animals in Suriname. These animals range from being small as mice to being large like a Jaguar. One big animal that lives off the coast of Suriname is the killer whale. The killer whale is the largest member of the oceanic dolphin family, followed by the long finned pilot whale. The Killer whale is a toothed whale. While the Killer whale rules the water, the jaguar is the king of the land. The jaguar is a large cat species. It is also the only living member of the panthera genus, native to the Americas.  It is the third largest cat species in the world. The jaguar is in lots of different ancient mythologies that are located in the Americas. Jaguars live in solitary and are polygynous. More species include the Peregrine Falcon, the Sperm whale, the Harpy eagle, And the ocelot.
