Guianan moist forest

What is the Guianan moist forest?

Just to the east of the Orinoco basin. Lyes is a vast ecoregion called the Guianan moist forests.  The Guianan moist forests are located in the Guyana's( Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana). The forest takes up most of Suriname. It is in the amazon biome. The terrain is mostly low hills or plains. The suriname river flows through the guianan moist forests region. The river is home to many species of fish. The region is home to plants and animals. The plants include trees from the  Lecythidaceae, Burseraceae, and Sapotaceae families. The animals include jaguars, tapirs, pumas, some deer species, and rodents. The region is also home to over 600 bird species, these include toucans, hummingbirds, and macaws. This region is mainly covered by lowland or submontane rainforest.
