Most of Suriname's economy depends on mineral resources. These include oil, gold, and Bauxite. Suriname's GDP is 8.688 billion, a small fraction of what other countries' GDPs are. Suriname exports Alumina, gold, crude oil, lumber, shrimp, rice, bananas. Their export partners are Switzerland, Hong Kong, Belgium, UAE and Guyana. The tourism industry in Suriname is good if you like rich culture. Suriname’s GDP per capita is  smaller than French guiana’s GDP per capita, with suriname at 14,900 $ and French guiana at 15,611$. Suriname’s economy depends on minerals, Suriname also has a GDP per capita of 14,900$.
